Warm Wintertime Dessert Drink

WARM WINTERTIME DESSERT DRINKHere is the perfect solution to soothe your sweet tooth without wrecking your diet!

With only 150 calories per cup, this recipe warms your belly and prevents your wintertime waistline from growing.

To make this drink you will need grapefruit juice, water, honey, a cinnamon stick and whole allspice berries. You can adjust the ingredients to your tastes, but give my version a try first.

Warm Wintertime Dessert Drink


  • 2 cups Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice*
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 6 Whole Allspice Berries


In a medium-size saucepan, combine all ingredients

Bring to a boil

Reduce the heat and simmer over very low heat for 20-30 minutes

Pour the drink through a strainer to remove the solids



*You can buy a carton of Grapefruit Juice from the grocery store or squeeze your own.

*If your drink is too tart, adjust the water or honey to your desired taste
